Google’s Messages app is constantly being updated with new features. The most recent addition, on the other hand, is extremely useful. RCS conversations in Google Messages will now be easier to find in your chat list. They will be easy to distinguish from regular SMS messages.
The messages you’ve sent and received in the chat list have a lock icon, indicating encryption. Before you begin typing a message, the text box will display a ‘Chat message’ or ‘Text message’ indicator. When you begin writing a message, you will also see an indicator, either a lock icon next to the send icon or a ‘SMS’ indicator in writing.
