Surprisingly, Japan is now the largest Pixel device selling hub, accounting for 34% of Google Pixel shipments in Q1 2023. Last year, Japan accounted for only 10% of Pixel shipments. This demonstrates that Pixel phones have the potential to outperform rivals Samsung and Apple in the Japanese market. Google now controls 9% of the Japanese market, trailing only Apple.
