Google introduced an app called Inbox in 2014, and this app had an interesting take on email. Inbox organised emails into groups, resulting in a much cleaner interface. It was a popular platform, but we’re talking about a Google product here. Shortwave is an application that restores the core functionality provided by Inbox. Emails from the same source are automatically grouped into bundles, just like in Inbox.
