Snapchat Family Center has a new feature that allows parents to have more control over the content in their children’s feeds. The new feature is called Content Controls, and it can be found in the Family Center settings.Parents, online platforms, and lawmakers are all concerned about protecting children from harm and abuse.
Parents can control what their children see on social media platforms. Snapchat Family Center’s Content Controls option enables parents to exclude Stories from specific publishers or creators. Parents must decide whether the Stories are sensitive, and Snapchat will not intervene. To enable Content Controls, parents must first have an existing Family Center set up with their teen. They must then choose “Restrict Sensitive Content” in the Family Center settings.
