YouTube has been introducing a variety of new features to entice users to subscribe to its premium plan, but long-requested features such as queuing have gone unnoticed. As part of these ongoing efforts, the platform recently launched five new features aimed at improving the video-watching experience and potentially making it more enjoyable with friends and family.
One of the most notable new features is the “1080p premium” video quality tier, which provides a higher bitrate for playback. As a result, premium users can now watch videos that are extra crisp and clear, with lots of detail and motion. However, the enhanced 1080p quality level is currently only available on iOS devices, but YouTube intends to expand its availability.
