Apple devices are gradually receiving Rapid Security Response updates. These updates are comparable to Android security patches, which provide fixes for exploits and vulnerabilities. iPhone, Mac, and iPad owners no longer have to wait for larger software updates to receive these fixes. Apple announced Rapid Security Response updates last year.
Since the beta release of iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and macOS 13 Ventura, the company has been testing the updates. Rapid Response is now out of beta and gradually making its way to Apple products. Apple’s first-ever urgent security update system is now available for iOS 16.4.1, iPadOS 16.4.1, and macOS 13.3.1 devices. These updates are minor patches.
