Passkeys were managed by the Google Password Manager until Android 13. However, beginning with Android 14, the company is allowing third-party services to do the same. Dashlane is taking advantage of this expanded support to enable users to manage their passkeys on Android devices. 1Password, a competitor password manager service, has also announced that it will add passkey support later this year.
