Google Docs’ paginated mode displays the working page individually with page breakers. This stimulates the idea of working with A4-size paper, which is ideal if the work will be printed. However, this format was previously only enabled by default on the Google Docs web platform.
Working with Google Docs on mobile devices took place on a single page. Users could, however, activate the paginated mode by clicking the three-dot icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. The paginated mode will now be available by default on all devices to assist users while they work.
