Google Meet for mobile now includes 360-degree video backgrounds, allowing you to fool your coworkers into thinking you’re on the beach or working outside when you’re actually still in bed. It’s adding another video improvement to the service today, this time improving call resolution.
Beginning today, select Google Workplace users will be able to change the video resolution of their calls from 720p to 1080p. While Google One subscribers with 2TB or more of storage space are included, this change is primarily aimed at Business and Enterprise users and will not be available on regular, personal Google accounts.
