Google has apparently added “Send Photos Faster” for users with slow or intermittent internet connections. Because RCS uploads photos to the cloud, sending high-resolution images takes longer. The new option will shorten upload times and allow for faster photo sharing.
Google Messages is receiving an updated feature that will allow you to send photos more quickly by reducing image resolution. RCS, a modern protocol that allows for iMessage-like features such as read receipts, location sharing, encryption, and more, allows users to send and receive high-quality photos.
