Cinematic images on Google Photos generate a 3D representation of an image to enhance its appeal. It accomplishes this through the use of machine learning, which predicts the depth of an image. This allows it to gradually glide a previously still image across the background in a defined pattern. The cinematic effect is now available with a few taps thanks to a recent update to the Google Photo app.
