Google defines inactive as not logging in for at least two years. So, if you’ve logged in at all in the last two years, you shouldn’t be concerned. It makes no difference if you’re not actively using it as your primary email account. If you’re concerned about losing your valuable data, you can relax for several reasons. To begin with, Google will not begin deleting emails until December of this year. Meanwhile, in the months leading up to the deletion, the company will send out frequent notifications. It will send notifications to the primary email address and, if one has been assigned, the recovery email address.
