After OpenAI’s ChatGPT took the world by storm and had its technology quickly integrated into Microsoft Bing and other products, Google’s Bard AI arrived late to the game. A new report cites Google employees who believe that the company’s rush to deliver on AI has resulted in ignoring ethical concerns, all while Bard is regarded as “worse than useless.
Google’s request for employees to provide feedback on Bard prior to its public release was largely ignored. Employees described Bard as “cringe-worthy” and “a pathological liar” in their feedback.
