According to the recent report, Phenaki works similarly to current image generation systems. You enter a text prompt, and the AI generates a short video clip similar to a GIF to represent the prompt.
Surprisingly, Google has erected artificial barriers around Phenaki. The company told 60 Minutes that Phenaki would not produce humans. This security measure prevents the Google AI video generator from producing deep fakes.
