The company announced the news on its blog, announcing the launch of its bug bounty programme in collaboration with bug bounty platform Bugcrowd.
OpenAI is offering rewards ranging from $200 for low-severity bugs to $20,000 for exceptional bug discoveries to encourage testing. Last month, the company had a significant scare when it temporarily shut down ChatGPT due to a bug that enabled some users to see the titles of other users’ chat histories.
