Instagram Threads, Meta’s Twitter alternative, is almost here. According to an App Store listing, the app will be available this Thursday, July 6, at least in the United States. According to the app’s description, it will collect all of your data, which is far more than Twitter does.
In the aftermath of Twitter’s blunders, Meta has been rushing to launch Threads as part of Instagram in order to provide its users with a new social platform. The app, aptly titled “Threads, an Instagram app,” was released last Saturday for Android devices on the Google Play Store.
