Ads in search results, as the name implies, will allow businesses to show ads to Instagram users who are actively searching for products, businesses, or content. This means that when Instagram users search for a specific term, such as “Galaxy S23,” they may see sponsored posts in their feed alongside the actual search results. Once testing is completed, Instagram plans to roll out this feature globally.
Reminder Ads, on the other hand, will enable businesses to announce, remind, and notify users of upcoming events or launches. As a result, when users opt into Reminder Ads for a specific event, Instagram will notify them one day before, 15 minutes before, and when the event begins. These notifications will appear on the user’s lock screen in the same way as other Instagram notifications.
