Firefox Relay, which was released in 2020, allows you to create multiple email aliases that you can share with online businesses or random websites without revealing your personal email address. The emails you receive on these “masks” are forwarded to your main email ID after they have been stripped of trackers. Using such a service also protects your real email from being compromised in a data breach.
Relay will now be available in the toolbar at the top of all websites. It can be used to open an overlay menu that allows you to quickly create a new email alias or copy an existing one without having to go to your Relay dashboard.
