ChatGPT is gradually tearing apart the fabric of online searches. After incorporating the generative AI tool into Bing a few months ago, Microsoft began lobbying Firefox to make its search engine the default one. Around the same time, Samsung was considering switching the default search engine in its Galaxy phones from Google to Bing, but that appears to be on hold for the time being. Although most Galaxy devices come with Google Chrome pre-installed, Samsung also ships phones with its own in-house browser that uses Google as the default search engine.
