Google is not the only company competing with ChatGPT. Elon Musk recently established X.AI, a new AI company, to develop the so-called TruthGPT. Alibaba, the Chinese tech giant, is also developing a domestic version of ChatGPT. DeepMind was acquired by Google in 2014, and the company’s in-house Brain department has been researching AI for years. Both teams have created a number of AI-powered services for Google, such as AlphaGo, Transformers, and word2vec.
Microsoft also made a splash by incorporating ChatGPT into its Bing search engine. According to recent reports, Samsung may switch its products’ default search engine to Bing rather than Google.
