Amazon has announced collaboration with T-Mobile to enable hands-free calling. The feature is available as a new T-Mobile Alexa Skill, which customers can use to connect their phone number to Alexa. Hands-free calling will be available on all Alexa-enabled devices connected to the account once a phone number is linked to the account.
This feature will convert all of your Alexa-enabled devices into phones automatically. If you receive a call, it will ring on all of your devices. You can, thankfully, control which devices are used to make and receive calls. You can also turn off incoming calls and force your devices to only make outbound calls.
