According to The Verge, the Microsoft Edge browser appears to be sending the full URLs of every website you visit to Bing API servers. Last week, Redditors discovered the issue. The problem appears to be caused by a feature that allows users to follow content creators.
The “follow creators” feature was first introduced by Microsoft in January 2022. However, the most recent Microsoft Edge update has rendered the feature inoperable. Because of the update, following creators is now enabled by default.
