Twitter’s newly imposed read limits appear to be preventing tweets from appearing in Google Search. The search engine has discontinued the display of hundreds of millions of tweets in search results. Because of the new limit, Google cannot “crawl” Twitter URLs. According to SearchEngineLand, Google Search displayed over 470 million Twitter results at the end of last week. However, the total number of tweet results has now fallen below 200 million.
