Twitter made an announcement today about how tweets will be displayed on your timeline. In particular, the company has implemented a new enforcement philosophy known as “Freedom of Speech, not Freedom of Reach,” which is less of a new policy and more of an extra layer of transparency around an old one.
As the name implies, the new philosophy is based on the idea that, while users have the freedom to say whatever they want on the platform, those tweets do not have to be shared with the entire Twitter ecosystem.
