People on LinkedIn can easily lie about their jobs in order to appear more professional. This means you run the risk of hiring someone who is unqualified for the job. This is where the new badge can help. When you are verified, you will see a small blue checkmark icon on your profile, proving that you work at the job listed on your profile. Unlike on other platforms, you will not see a checkmark next to your profile picture. Instead, the badge will appear in the Verification’s section of your profile.

You can verify your workplace in two ways. The first method is the most obvious. You will use your company email address. When you choose this option, you’ll be asked to enter your work email address. Then, LinkedIn will send you an email with a six-digit code that you must enter. Your badge will then appear on your website.
