WhatsApp now allows you to silence calls from unknown contacts automatically. A Privacy Checkup feature has also been added to the platform. Obviously, this feature will not protect you from traditional voice calls made by unknown contacts. It’s worth noting, however, that many OEM phone apps allow you to completely block calls and texts from unknown numbers. In Google’s Phone app, this is in addition to spam filtering and Pixel-exclusive call screening functionality.
