Xiaomi has announced a significant achievement: the company has sold one billion Redmi smartphones to date. Xiaomi took ten years to accomplish this, as the first handset, the Xiaomi Redmi, was released in 2013. William Lu, a Partner and President of Xiaomi Group, announced the achievement. Lei Jun, the company’s CEO, also reshared it.
