In China, Xiaomi has released the Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro tablets. The Pro model, in particular, includes increased horsepower and charging capabilities. The series is available in China for less than $300, but there is no word on a wider release.
The Pro model from Xiaomi, on the other hand, is clearly the star of the show, with a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, 67W wired charging for the 8,600mAh battery, and a 20MP selfie camera. The Pro model also includes a quad-speaker system, but it’s unclear whether this configuration is available on the standard model.
