Looking at the profiles/channels of non-artist users in YouTube Music today reveals public playlists. In what appears to be an attempt to make YouTube Music more social, you now have the option to make your listening stats public.
This has the potential to make YouTube Music a little more social. The service already promotes other people’s public playlists, and stats could be combined with a “following” feature to help you decide whether to subscribe to a non-artist user.
